Privacy Policy

MDContent, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("MDContent") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of visitors to this site (the "Site") by maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and security for all data collected from visitors to our Site. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect and how it is used.

Information Collection

Visitors to our Site may be asked to provide personal contact information in exchange for access and/or use of certain services on the Site. This information may include your name, age, email address, home address, telephone number, fax number, and financial information (such as account or credit card numbers). We will use this information to provide the requested service(s) to the visitor and to contact the visitor in the future about related services/products that may be of interest to the visitor. A database will be maintained for each of the different services offered by us and, therefore, resigning from a particular service will not remove you from the databases for other services for which you may be signed up. You will continue to receive information related to these remaining services. You must permanently remove yourself from all of our services in order for communications from us to cease. We may also use this information for internal marketing and research purposes. Any information collected from visitors to our Site will never be shared or sold to a third party.

When you visit the Site, we may also collect your IP address in order to help diagnose problems with our server, and to help administer the Site. This information is not connected to or associated with any other personally identifiable information that you may provide us while visiting our Site.

The Site contains links to third-party web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other sites. We recommend that you always review the privacy policies of any web site you visit.

Disclosures Required by Law

We do not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;

  • We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms and Conditions of Use, or as otherwise required by law.

  • We transfer information about you if MDContent is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Public Forums

The Site makes certain areas (such as chat rooms, file libraries, bulletin or message boards and community postings) available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas, even those protected by a username and/or a password, becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. We are not liable for third party use of any information you may disclose in these areas of the Site.

Security

While no system is completely foolproof, we take the security of the information we collect from visitors to our Site very seriously and therefore we have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

Cookies

Many websites use "cookies" to help personalize a visitor's online experience. "Cookies" are text files that are placed on the hard drive of a visitor's computer by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to each visitor and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the services or web sites you visit.

Our Site may use cookies to keep track of your shopping cart when making purchases, to deliver content specific to your interest, to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit the Site, and for other similar purposes. You may still use most of the features on the Site without cookies, but it is possible that some parts of our Site will not function properly if you decline cookies.

Children and Parents

Our Site is not designed or intended for use by children under 13. If you are under 18, you should not visit our Site unless a parent or guardian is present. Children under 13 may not submit any personally identifiable information to us, and if we discover that we have inadvertently gathered any such information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. If you believe that your child under the age of 18 has submitted personally identifiable information to us, you may contact us in order to view, modify, and/or delete any information your child provided. MDContent supports the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
